Andrea Bartz and Brenna Ehrlich Are the authors of How To Handle A Cyberstalker. This web site related to my Area of Awareness because cyberstalking could actually happen to people. My area of Awareness is Social Awareness and no matter where you are you can have a Cyberstalker, on the internet or not.
This to explain that Facebook holds user photos for months after they were deleted.
This information goes along with my core competency area because the social network is getting bigger each minute and we have to be careful of what we do and say.[1]
This connects to Social Awareness because technology is rising rapidly and social awareness is more important than ever. With facebook and myspace you need to have social awareness.
This connects to Social Awareness because it tells how people are being bullied online and is happening more and more often.

Code Blue- If you have a friend that is tweeting and posting on your wall way to much. Then you just might have a Code Blue cyberstalker.
Code Yellow- If you have a person that wont stop talking/chating to you on line. Then you just might have a Code Yellow cyberstalker.
Code Orange- If you have a stranger that wants to be friends on line with you. Make sure you be careful because you might have a Code Orange cyberstalker.
Code Red- If you have somebody who went out of there way to actually follow you. Then make sure you be aware because that is a big sign of a Code Red cyberstalker.
Social networking is changing the way kids and teens use the internet. [2]
Social networking is also developing quickly while technology changes.
The most visited sites are Myspace, Facebook, and Bebo.
New websites are being launched and that goes along with standing websites standing so there are more websites for teens and kids to visit.
Usually we connect to websites game based and mobile based.[3]
Safetyweb has a new app that kids can use on facebook. It is to help with cyber bullying. There has been about 12 cases where kids have killed themselves because of cyber bullying. This app is publicly available in schools across the country. There had been one case where a 16-year-old girl was raped at a party and some other kids taped it and posted it online.
Most 18 and younger are being bullied on facebook and other online posts and chats. Parents want their children to add bookmarks and applications for

If you put up a picture on a social networking site then it is very hard to get rid of it forever. People will copy the URL address and save it to their computer and send i to other people. So you thought you deleted it thats not true.So be aware that when you put up a picture, video, or anything then it won't go away.[4]

Even if you delete bad photos off of Facebook, they're viewable for up to 30 months, or 2 1/2 years. Facebook says that they only keep them for a "limited" amount of time. If you still have a URL it may still be accessible for a period of time after its removed. Facebook's spokesman told ArsTechnica that they're working on this issue. They said that they already fixed the video issue and now they're working on profile pictures and regular photos. They say it should be done with in a couple of weeks.

<ref>Also, a Denver company has created an app for teens to report violations on Facebook. It was launched on Monday, Nov 1, 2010. A few parents encourage teens to put a bookmark on their page, which is called Find Help, on Facebook. This bookmark leads them to phone numbers and other links to report.
Safety Web is a internet monitoring device, so parents can track their teens. It was founded in 2009.

Facebook, a popular networking site, has created an app to report cyber bullying. This app simply includes links and phone numbers to report these cases. Cyber bullying is becoming more and more of a problem. Some people have been bullied to their breaking point and have killed themself needless to say it is getting out of hand.
